Drawing on her passion and authenticity, Tai delights in helping brands tell meaningful stories that ignite consumer engagement. Focused on the intersection of travel, lifestyle, and entrepreneurship, one of Tai’s latest ventures, where she serves as the host and producer, is a new show on CLEO TV called ‘Lens of Culture’, a 30-minute travelogue that highlights destinations throughout the Diaspora from a Black Millennials perspective.
Passionate about women’s empowerment and mentoring, this Fall, Tai will launch Beyond Ready, an online e-learning and live events experience that provides confidence coaching and business development for women and men who seek to move with intention and purpose personally and professionally.
Relying on her expertise as a brand strategist, Tai has proven to be a true mastermind creating strategies that connects international and national consumer brands with a female demographic. These skills were honed early in her career while serving as an editor at top magazines including Harper’s Bazaar, Good Housekeeping, O, The Oprah Magazine, Suede, and Seventeen Magazine— where she made history in 2004 as their youngest and first African American Beauty and Fitness Director to take on this coveted role.
Throughout the years, Tai has lent her expertise to platforms like ABC, NBC, E!, BET, The Wendy Williams Show, TLC, and TV One as host, personality, style authority and judge. She has also partnered and served as a trusted expert, brand ambassador, content creator for companies like CoverGirl, Ford, GM, InStyle, Lexus, McDonald’s, Proctor and Gamble, Shea Moisture, Target, and Walmart among others.
