She was named Adweek’s Editor of the Year in 2017, while Allure was Magazine of the Year for their groundbreaking covers, such as the July 2017 American Beauty issue featuring model Halima Aden in a hijab and their oath to ban the term “anti-aging.” Allure was also nominated for a National Magazine Award for its March 2018 issue The Culture of Hair. Lee is a board member at ColorComm and Act to Change.
