Mailet Lopez is the CEO and founder of IHadCancer.com, a leading survivorship platform for survivors, fighters and caregivers. After winning a cancer diagnosis of her own, Mailet was inspired to build a digital network focused on helping people better deal with life before, during and after a diagnosis. This was uniquely possible by leveraging her extensive knowledge of UX behavior and the resources of Squeaky.com, a pioneering digital agency she co-founded in 2001. IHadCancer has won three Webby Awards, been listed as a “Social Network That Could Save Your Life” by Parade Magazine, and has become one of the most socially-engaged communities in the cancer space.
