2000 Joe founded Ghetto Film School, a nonprofit academy supporting 8,000+ underrepresented talent through its NYC, LA and London facilities. GFS has produced projects on five continents, with thousands of graduates working in film, television and advertising industries
Joe, a trained social worker, moved to the South Bronx in 1992 and led homeless relocation, job training, youth development, education and health projects benefiting thousands of neighbors. He raised $100M+ for these initiatives, leading operational teams of hundreds of local residents.
