    EJ Stancil

    By June 7, 2017 |

E.J. Stancil, a Houston native now residing in Los Angeles, is known for constantly challenging convention and having a bias towards action. With a background in producing world-class marketing content and DE&I programming, he aims to bring a fresh perspective and a collaborative approach to each team he’s a part of.

E.J.’s experience is rooted in the management of digital marketing campaigns for a variety of Fortune 500 companies across telecommunications, CPG, retail, entertainment, and technology. The scope of his past work ranges across social & digital media campaigns, retail experience innovation, new consumer product launches, and front-end web development.

Currently, E.J. serves as DE&I Program Manager for Android at Google. In this role, E.J. works to operationalize the ideals of DE&I into the core workflows of the business by establishing shared accountability in the creation and maintenance of a more equitable and inclusive culture for Android’s teams and products.

E.J. first established his roots in advocacy through the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP) and ADCOLOR FUTURES, and has since become a recognized champion for historically excluded communities. He serves as an acting member on the ADCOLOR Advisory Board and received the Unsung Hero award for his contributions to the ADCOLOR organization. In addition, his leadership in R/GA’s corporate DE&I efforts was acknowledged when he received three separate company awards for innovation, collaboration, and culture for breaking down silos and establishing space for meaningful and inclusive conversations around race relations and gender inequality.

In his spare time, you can find E.J. twirling on a dance floor, eating at a Michelin-starred restaurant with an emergency bottle of hot sauce, or digging through the crates of your favorite music streaming service.
