He was a Co-Founder and CMO of the largest ringtone company in the US, 9Squared (acquired by Zed USA) and served as a content licensing executive at Amazon Music, SoundCloud, Red Bull Media House and musical.ly / TikTok. Ted joined Snap in August 2018 and has been focused on deepening the company’s music partnerships by developing scalable strategies for tapping into Snapchat’s young and highly engaged audience. In the past year, Ted has formalized partnerships with thousands of labels and music publishers to support music-based creative tools, like Sounds on Snapchat (creative tool that enables users to embed up to 60 seconds of music into their messages).
