Dr. Jamillah Bowman Williams received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and her Ph.D. in Sociology from Stanford. She is a Professor of Law at Georgetown University, and she recently joined Harvard Business School, as a Visiting Faculty Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Business in Global Society. Dr. Williams uses quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate which legal and organizational strategies are most promising for advancing equity. Her research has been featured by a range of scholarly journals and media outlets and she frequently consults leaders in business, government, and education regarding their workplace practices.
