Chad Charlie is an Afro-Indigenous filmmaker from Ahousaht First Nation. Beginning his career in 2008 as a stand-up comedian and spoken word artist, he now extends the same passion for poetry and humor in his writing for TV and film. In recent years, Chad has taken part in many fellowships such as the 4th World Media Lab, ImagineNative Directors Lab, and Sundance Episodic Lab. He has also directed several short films that have been accepted at film festivals globally.
