Sequaña Williams-Hechavarria is a trusted leader, thought partner, and change equity champion passionate about representation, civil liberties, artistic expression, community, and culture. She believes no one is free until we are all free and has committed her career to solving complex issues that lead to solutions rooted in equity and justice.

She is currently the Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Program Manager at 72andSunny, where at the core of her role, she supports, empowers, incubates, and advocates for historically underrepresented voices and experiences. She has developed curriculum-centering intersectionality at each pillar, created inclusive programming, and built facile processes that meet everyone where they are throughout her career. She was also a founding member of a radical Black political organization where commitment to freedom is exercised through a Black Queer Feminist Thought lens.

Sequaña loves to learn from others just as much as she loves to be an intentional patron of support and is both humbled and honored to be in a community with folks who share this passion in addition to one that improves life chances through the development of impossible possibilities
