Loryn Hairston
By ADCOLOR August 17, 2022 |Loryn is a marketer with a track record of developing innovative program strategy, product positioning and end-to-end GTM execution. In 2020, Loryn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hampton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications and Political Science. During this time, she served as the Vice President of Young Adults Advocating change, a nonprofit that provided service opportunities and mentorship to at-risk youth; an educator for RELATE, an organization which taught domestic violence awareness curriculum to middle school students; and a volunteer at the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.
Helping her community has always been a passion of hers, which she has been able to carry over into her career as an Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) at Google on the Grow with Google team. As an APMM, Loryn has been able to deliver core marketing outputs across a number of workstreams, manage and build complex processes, and deliver outstanding campaign results. Outside of her core role, Loryn has gone the extra mile to bring her skill set as a marketer to companies that focus on impacting communities near to her heart. In 2020, Loryn started working with ColorStack, a non profit working to increase the number of Black and Latinx computer science graduates, as a marketing consultant.
Around the same time, Loryn became a copywriter for Digital Church University, a company which provides education and resources to churches to help them create an e-church experience by learning how to use social media and other digital outlets.
