Mahyad Tousi is a multidisciplinary storyteller and co-founder of BoomGen Studios and the newly launched Starfish—a creative IP accelerator designed to unleash the full market potential for transformative pop culture ideas originating from artists of color.

Tousi’s work spans across mediums, genres, and platforms, ranging from museum pieces to Hollywood blockbusters. He is currently producing a new sitcom with Chuck Lorre and the Big Bang team for CBS, and co-writing a 360 franchise based on The Tales of a Thousand and One Nights with Picturestart. Tousi sits on the advisory board of MIT’s Center for Advanced Virtuality.
