    Cheriss May

    Cheriss May is a lauded visual storyteller, president of Women Photojournalists of Washington, an Adobe Education Leader, and an adjunct professor at Howard University, her alma mater. Her passion radiates through her aptitude to connect to the soul of those she photographs. Cheriss is often commissioned to speak on diversity and inclusive storytelling. She has been published in O Magazine, Time, The White House Historical Association, and The New York Times, among others. Her work is featured in a permanent exhibit: “In Conversation: Visual Meditations on Black Masculinity”, at the African American Museum in Philadelphia.
