As a first-generation American, Andrea has dedicated over 10 years to the development of diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. As a Diversity Program Manager at Facebook, she designs and delivers scalable strategies and sets the vision for programs that serve underrepresented communities. Her initiatives have impacted 13 countries, 42 cities, raised over $500,000 of funding for nonprofits, and have connected over a thousand people. She previously served as the VP of External Partnerships for Facebook’s Latin@ employee resource group, founded the Technology Hispanic and Latino Network at Goldman Sachs, and has mentored young professionals of color since 2009.
