Anthony is a creative storyteller and digital marketer with a passion for elevating and amplifying voices of under-represented communities to effect real change.

Throughout the course of their career, Anthony has demonstrated a passion for telling stories about human resilience and impact to effect systemic change. Anthony first realized the power of leveraging social media for social impact when they won Peace Corps Malawi’s 16 Days of Gender Activism Competition for their promoted work with teen-aged girls who used performance to dispel myths about HIV. This work was recognized by the U.S. Ambassador to Malawi, who helped standardize the project across Peace Corps training materials. Having previously worked in Washington, DC, Anthony used storytelling to advocate on behalf of people living with HIV. In this role, they learned how to use empathic storytelling to change policy and secure funding to ensure that some of this nation’s most vulnerable people have equitable access to Healthcare.

In their free time, Anthony performs as drag superstar and chef, Vita! Vita uses her platform to uplift and support the queer community, having previously organized makeup drives for shelters that support trans and gender non-conforming people. She is happiest with a platter of her homemade lasagna, an Old Country staple.
