Samra is a writer and storyteller based in Brooklyn, NY. Her copywriting connects brands to people in creative and memorable ways, and she’s written everything from product marketing to advertising campaigns for global brands like Google, Twitter, United Nations, American Express, SiriusXM and Chase. In her spare time, Samra works on independent films that celebrate Black stories and mentors young women in advertising and media. Samra is all about fostering community, amplifying historically silenced voices, and speaking truth to power. She’s a member of the 2019 ADCOLOR FUTURES class and now serves as a second-year ADCOLOR Advisory Board member on the Alumni Engagement committee.
