Brit Fryer
By ADCOLOR June 25, 2018 |Brit Fryer currently works as the Programming & Communications Coordinator at Athlete Ally, a nonprofit using sport to end homophobia and transphobia. In his role, he is responsible for Athlete Ally’s Campus Chapters Program, producing educational tools, and developing the stories of LGBTQ athlete, coaches, and fans. Before Athlete Ally, Brit worked in LGBTQ peer support and programming, advertising, and film at various institutions and organizations like Carleton College, Wieden + Kennedy, Space150, and Neighborhoods Organizing for Change. He holds a BA in Cinema and Media Studies from Carleton College and is currently obtaining his MFA from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. His films and projects have gained attention from The Sundance Institute, The Independent Filmmakers Project, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, and Seed & Spark. He is a 2015 MAIP Fellow, a 2016 Sundance Ignite Fellow, and an alum of Griffin Farley’s Beautiful Minds.
