Sioban is a Partner Experience Manager at Twitter in San Francisco, specializing in creating amazing experiences for potential clients and partners that promote the Twitter brand and culture. She is also a co-lead for the San Francisco branch of Blackbirds, a internal Twitter resource group that celebrates people of the African diaspora and their allies. She has worked in event-planning for over 13 years, ranging from collegiate program planning to non-profit fundraising to lifestyle conferences. Sioban is passionate about experiences that resonate and benefit the attendees; that stick with them long after they’ve left. Her background in client relations and attendee experience allow her to exceed the needs of participants based on her knowledge of their industry and goals. When not bringing her passion to her “day job”, she also works with non-profits and entrepreneurs to help create events that benefit their audience, promote their brand and service awareness, along with a mission of pushing the community forward. Before Twitter, she managed the Customer Experience at TED Conferences (aka TED Talks).
