Garin Flowers is a national reporter for Yahoo Entertainment covering all things pop culture. He’s also an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California. From 2011 to 2018, Flowers was a TV news reporter in Florida; working for stations in Tallahassee, Tampa and Jacksonville. His work earned an Associated Press Award and an Emmy Award nomination. Most recently, he received a Telly Award for his reporting with Yahoo about a Black family getting land back that was stripped from them about 100 years ago. In 2020, Flowers appeared as a contestant on ABC’s hit reality show, “The Bachelorette.”
