Stacey Stevenson is the first person of color to lead Family Equality in its 44-year history. A trailblazing leader, in 2022, Stacey was selected as one of Out Magazine’s Out100 list — a compilation of the year’s most impactful and influential LGBTQ+ people. Prior to joining Family Equality, Stacey worked in the corporate sector, where they have a long history of senior roles in the defense, technology, and finance industries. She decided to turn her business acumen, lived experience, and passion to advocate for LGBTQ+ families. Stacey resides in the DMV with her wife and 9-year-old twin boys.
