ADCOLOR and Meta have teamed up to create Community Conversations, a three-part video series to celebrate and learn more about the Black community and inspire businesses and brands to support and celebrate the Black community beyond the 28 days of Black History Month.

For our first conversation, we spoke to our community members about Recognizing and Honoring Black Culture. As recently as 5 years ago, recognizing Black consumers in the U.S. was reserved for Black History Month. With the shift to recognition and representation of Black culture and Black consumers year-round, the way we honor and support the community is shifting. Here’s what the community had to say about it.

In our second installment, ADCOLOR Community members from different industries tell us about their journey as Black creators and highlight the Black creators that we should know about.

Check out these creators that may not be widely known, but are doing amazing work.

In our third episode, we challenge folks to “Put their Money where their Representation Is”. For the last several years, “inclusion” in most organizations/brands has translated to representation… whether that is in their workforce or in their ads. It’s time for organizations to go beyond representation and actually support Black talent and Black business with their dollars.
This discussion will help organizations uncover tangible ways to improve supplier diversity and to ensure that their dollars are positively impacting the Black community, not just selling to them.
